In 1995 ATLANTIDES TRAVEL & SHIPPING CO. LTD . was incorporated by Ioannis Kardaris as successor of ATLANTIDES TRAVEL .
In 2005 Ioannis Kardaris incorporated ATLANTIDES SHIPPING CO. LTD of Marshall Islands, which established a shipping and management office in Piraeus, in 2014.
These two companies together form Atlantides Group.

Our Activities
From 1987 until 1990 Atlantides Group was mainly involved in yachting and tourist activities, mainly as yacht owners, charterers and brokers, as well as tourist agent.
Our Activities
Starting from 1991 Ioannis Kardaris and the founding members of the Group have been actively involved in the chartering and sale & purchase of vessels and cruise ships.
Sales of big cargo vessels
Concluding the sale of big tonnage cargo vessels “ALEXANDROS”, and “SKOPELOS STAR”.
Passenger Car Ferries: “CROWN”
Concluding the sale of the Passenger Car Ferries: “CROWN” (ex “BYBLOS”, loa 150m, owner Mr. Maragkopoulos) to the company KERZNER INTERNATIONAL (kerzner.com) of Dubai, UAE.
Passenger Car Ferries: “CROWN”
The vessel was managed by ATLANTIDES and used as accommodation ship for the needs of the workers of ATLANTIS PROJECTS, Palm Island, Dubai UAE.
Passenger Car Ferries: “CROWN”
On completion of the project four years later, the vessel was purchased by ATLANTIDES and sold for demolition to Indian yard.
“POSEIDON”
“POSEIDON” (loa 165 m) to the company NAKHEEL (www.nakheel.com) of Dubai, UAE. The vessel was purchased by ATLANTIDES, modified as accommodation ship.
“POSEIDON”
“POSEIDON” (loa 165 m) sold to NAKHEEL and under the managed of ATLANTIDES was used as accommodation ship for the needs of the workers in Dubai constructions of the Palm Island Project, covering their business needs.

Paraguana.Speedrunner III acting as brokers in the chartering of the vessel to the Ionian Coastal Line (11880) and in her subsequent sale.
Sale & Purchase
“Lisa I” “ex Spathoek” acting as brokers in the sale & purchase – managers for Global Cargo Logistics (GCL). Fior di Levante (11880) broker in the sale & purchase.
Strong partnerships
Atlantides acted as brokers for the purchase of the Ro-Ro Passenger vessel “Contessa Di Levante” (ex-Queen Coral 8) for Levante Ferries (11880), who also appointed Atlantides Shipping to act as managers of “Contessa Di Levante”.

Atlantides Shipping carried out the towage of the vessel from the Japanese shipyard where she was located to a well-reputable Chinese Shipyard for repairs.

Atlantides acted as brokers for the sale and purchase of a general cargo vessel with year of built 2009 and Dwt 5.800T.
